What you will do

• Conduct requirement elicitation (functional and non-functional), document and map processes, and align requirements with business and technical stakeholders.
• Collaborate with stakeholders on solution design by investigating situations and analyzing alternatives to select the best solution.
• Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technology teams to ensure clear communication and alignment.
• Support project delivery by defining scope objectives and deliverables with Project Managers.
• Translate business needs into functional and technical specifications, including business cases, process flows, and user stories.
• Facilitate workshops, meetings, and training sessions to drive collaboration and knowledge sharing.

Requirements

• Right to work in the UK with no visa sponsorship; must be a UK resident and have lived continuously in the UK for the last 10 years.
• Ability to hold or gain a UK government security clearance.
• Proven success in business analysis, requirements elicitation, and stakeholder management in complex financial services environments.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to translate business needs into clear, actionable requirements and strategic solutions.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and experience with business analysis/collaboration tools such as Microsoft Visio, JIRA, and Confluence.
• Experience leading or contributing to Financial Services and Solutions (FSS) projects, including regulatory considerations and technology ecosystems.

Nice to have

• Business analysis certifications such as CBAP, CCBA, PMI-PBA, or IIBA-AAC.
• Agile/Scrum certifications such as CSM or PSM.
• Experience with Agile principles and Scrum in iterative development environments.
• Process modeling tools experience such as Lucidchart.
• Knowledge of SDLC and ability to align analysis activities with project delivery phases.
