What you will do

• Develop project plans and scopes of work for complex multidisciplinary substation engineering and EPC projects.
• Manage project scope, schedules, budgets, resources, vendors, consultants, and contractors.
• Lead, supervise, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of engineers and designers.
• Prepare and review preliminary designs, proposals, estimates, plans, specifications, studies, material lists, and other deliverables.
• Develop electrical, foundation, conduit, grounding, layout, section, and elevation drawings for substations.
• Track project performance, resolve obstacles, communicate with clients, and ensure QA/QC requirements are met.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
• 10+ years of direct substation physical and electrical engineering experience.
• Professional Engineering license in any state and the ability to obtain additional state licenses.
• Experience with MicroStation and AutoCAD.
• Proficiency with Windows-based software, including Word and Excel, and the ability to learn new design tools.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, collaboration, attention-to-detail, and quality-focused skills.
