What you will do

• Coordinate the full procurement lifecycle from purchase intent to final delivery.
• Analyze material requirements and MRP plans to determine purchasing needs.
• Interview and evaluate potential suppliers based on quality, price, and availability.
• Negotiate contracts to achieve the lowest cost while maintaining quality and schedule requirements.
• Manage inventory liabilities and ensure accurate retention of procurement documentation.
• Collaborate with internal teams to advise on supplier selection and distribution methods.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university.
• 3-5 years of professional buying experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Ability to perform physical tasks including standing, walking, and lifting up to 25 pounds.
• Strong analytical skills for evaluating proposals and managing inventory.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
