What you will do
- Design and develop mechanical systems, components, and assemblies throughout the product lifecycle.
- Own engineering deliverables from concept refinement through detailed design and production release.
- Create robust, manufacturable designs using DFMA methodologies.
- Develop and maintain 3D CAD models, engineering drawings, and technical specifications.
- Conduct engineering analysis, tolerance assessments, and risk evaluations to support design decisions.
- Plan, build, and test prototypes to validate product performance and user experience.
Requirements
- Degree in Product Design Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Industrial Design Engineering.
- Experience in mechanical or product design within a New Product Development environment.
- Strong understanding of plastics, manufacturing processes, and design for manufacture principles.
- High proficiency in CAD software such as SolidWorks or Creo.
- Experience taking products through multiple stages of the development lifecycle.
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration across global teams.
