Intern (m/f/d) - Specialisation Sustainability

Location: Frankfurt/Main, Hesse, Germany — onsite at the hirify.global Innovation Center in the Industrial Park Höchst

Temporary full-time position for 9–12 months.

What you will do

• Support the continuous development and digitalization of the Portfolio Value Program, including sustainability assessments and digital efficiency tools.
• Map and analyze internal databases, identify data gaps, and propose system connections in collaboration with IT.
• Research and evaluate external sustainability databases to complement internal data sources.
• Assist in developing data integration solutions for sustainability reporting and portfolio analysis.
• Research sustainability trends, regulations, and best practices to support decision-making.
• Document data processes, methodologies, and findings to ensure consistency and transparency.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Data Management, Sustainability, Environmental Sciences, Engineering, Chemistry, or a related field.
• Fluent English, written and spoken.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Knowledge of data visualization tools such as Power BI; Python programming is advantageous.
• Understanding of data management principles and database tools.
• Interest or background in sustainability reporting, ESG criteria, or life cycle assessment.
