What you will do

• Lead and mentor a team of QA engineers, managing performance, career development, and resource planning.
• Ensure compliance with safety, cybersecurity, and regulatory standards (ISO 26262, ISO 21448, etc.) through regular audits.
• Collaborate across engineering divisions to implement practical quality management procedures and improve development efficiency.
• Facilitate root cause analysis and implement automation and data analytics to monitor the health of the Quality Management System (QMS).
• Oversee release artifacts and ensure accurate configuration identification throughout the product lifecycle.
• Partner with Talent Acquisition to identify hiring needs and lead the recruitment process for multidisciplinary teams.

Requirements

• Must be based in the United States.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related technical field.
• 10+ years of experience in quality management for software, hardware, or complex systems.
• Proven experience managing a team of direct reports.
• Strong knowledge of industry standards including ISO 9001, ISO 26262, ISO 21448, and ISO 21434.
• Experience delivering production systems from prototype through launch and maintenance.

Nice to have

• Experience testing autonomous vehicles, ROS-based robotics systems, or ADAS features.
• Background in configuration management for safety-critical systems.
• Project management experience.
