TL;DR
Sales Account Executive (Enterprise Software/SaaS): Drive strategic enterprise-wide sales initiatives across assigned accounts and territory with an accent on solution selling, executive-level relationship management, and managing complex multi-cycle deals. Focus on building and maintaining a high-velocity pipeline, qualifying and forecasting accurately in CRM, and positioning AI-enabled intelligent automation capabilities to VP/C-level stakeholders.

What you will do
- Identify, qualify, orchestrate, and close new business within assigned target accounts using ROI-focused solution selling.
- Build and manage a strong pipeline across existing customers and prospects by collaborating with lead generation, inside sales, and sales engineering.
- Run multiple concurrent enterprise sales cycles across diverse industry verticals, including deal negotiation and management.
- Conduct executive-level discussions with VP and C-level audiences and align messaging to strategic objectives and operational requirements.
- Maintain referenceable relationships and expand influence within target organizations, including building a deep network of contacts per account.
- Use CRM best practices to keep records accurate, forecast deals consistently, and leverage AI-enabled tools while following AI governance and data privacy standards.
Requirements
- 5–8 years of successful enterprise software and service sales experience selling Cloud and SaaS solutions to Global 2000 executives.
- Proven track record of multi-year success consistently exceeding individual quarterly and annual quotas.
- Direct and/or channel selling experience with RPA, cognitive capture, process orchestration, mobility/engagement, and analytics solutions (strongly preferred).
- Excellent communication and technical presentation skills for boardroom and executive-level discussions.
- Ability to close deals through effective negotiations in complex enterprise environments, including managing long sales cycles and seven-figure opportunities.
- Proficiency with CRM systems and sales productivity tools for pipeline management and forecasting.
Nice to have
- Skills in prompting AI systems and assessing output quality.
- Experience with solution selling and process-oriented sales approaches; MBA.
