Software Engineer

Location: Onsite in Columbia, Maryland; applicants must reside in the United States at the time of application.

Salary: USD $100,000–$250,000 per year

What you will do

• Design, develop, and deploy production-grade software for operational environments.
• Monitor software performance and implement updates and maintenance improvements.
• Enhance platforms with tools and technologies supporting evolving mission requirements.
• Conduct code reviews and produce detailed compliance and operational documentation.
• Gather stakeholder requirements and collaborate with customers, analysts, data scientists, and software engineers.

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required and must be maintained.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Production-grade software development experience with C/C++, Python, and Java.
• Experience with Git or comparable version control systems.
• Experience using UNIX or Linux command-line environments and working with multi-node networked systems.

Nice to have

• Experience with Docker or Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with Ansible configuration management.
• Experience with cloud hosting environments such as AWS.
• Proficiency with CI tools such as Jenkins.
