Software Development Engineer III (AI)

Base pay for Washington applicants: $164,652–$230,512.80 per year; other site ranges may differ.

What you will do

• Design, develop, and deploy complex software systems and infrastructure using .NET, Java, or Python.
• Build Agentic AI solutions, including autonomous agents, multi-agent orchestration frameworks, and LLM-powered workflows for finance, supply chain, and other enterprise domains.
• Design AI agent architectures that reason over business data and take action with human-in-the-loop safeguards.
• Develop inventory management, production planning, scheduling, and material availability systems for aerospace manufacturing.
• Build web interfaces with Angular or React and integrate commercial products through REST services, AI/ML APIs, and message queues.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams and troubleshoot software across deployment, server-side, and client-side environments.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• At least 5 years of professional software development experience with Java, C#, or Python.
• Experience leading software design and architecture for new and existing systems.
• Experience with cloud architectures, application deployment, and containerized workloads; AWS is preferred.
• Strong computer science fundamentals, including algorithms and data structures.
• Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident, or lawfully admitted refugee or asylee.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in computer science, artificial intelligence, or a related technical field.
• Seven or more years across the full software development lifecycle.
• Production experience with Agentic AI systems, multi-agent architectures, autonomous workflows, prompt engineering, RAG, vector databases, fine-tuning, or agent orchestration frameworks.
• Experience with scalable relational and non-relational data platforms or AI/ML solutions in enterprise, ERP, manufacturing, or aerospace domains.
• Experience with inventory management, production planning, scheduling, or demand-driven material planning.
