Software Development Engineer (AI)

Location: Must be based in Seattle, WA or Los Angeles, CA; quarterly travel to the Los Angeles office and site locations is required.

Salary: $111,543–$167,315 per year, plus potential annual incentive and/or long-term incentives.

What you will do

• Contribute to scalable and reliable software design and architecture.
• Develop and enhance maintainable software features across web, desktop, cloud, and IoT environments.
• Debug complex issues and optimize code for performance and scalability.
• Use AI-assisted development tools and help pilot AI-powered engineering workflows.
• Write automated tests and contribute to CI/CD, code reviews, technical documentation, sprint planning, and estimation.
• Collaborate with QA, Product Management, and DevOps to deliver software end to end.

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional software development experience.
• Experience with high-level languages including C#, JavaScript, Python, and SQL, as well as design patterns, algorithms, and computer science fundamentals.
• Experience with REST and GraphQL APIs, AWS services such as Lambda, S3, and API Gateway, and Git-based collaborative workflows.
• Familiarity with unit and integration testing, CI/CD pipelines, Agile methodology, and automated testing practices.
• Professional experience using AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience; fluent written and spoken English required.
