What you will do

• Build and maintain platform infrastructure using declarative IaC tools like Terraform or Pulumi.
• Act as a first-line responder for critical system incidents and drive blameless post-mortems.
• Implement and evolve automated CI/CD pipelines for reliable software deployment.
• Design and manage centralized logging, metrics, and distributed tracing systems.
• Ensure infrastructure scalability and capacity to meet defined SLOs and SLIs.
• Collaborate with product development teams to deliver tools that improve development speed.

Requirements

• Must have: Right to work in the UK.
• Must have: Deep, hands-on experience applying DevOps and SRE principles to production systems.
• Must have: Strong expertise in public cloud environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Must have: In-depth knowledge of container orchestration with Kubernetes at scale.
• Must have: Proficiency in modern languages such as Go, Python, or TypeScript.
• Must have: Ability to own and maintain mission-critical operational tooling.

Nice to have

• Experience implementing or managing log aggregation platforms like Datadog or Splunk.
• Familiarity with distributed tracing tools like Jaeger or Zipkin.
• Proven ability to drive cultural change in collaborative engineering environments.
