Office Surveyor

Salary: Starting at $100,000 annually; final compensation depends on qualifications, experience, and licensing status.

What you will do

• Perform advanced survey computations, data processing, and CAD drafting for boundary, topographic, ALTA/NSPS, and construction surveys.
• Interpret deeds, plats, and title documents to resolve boundaries and prepare legal descriptions.
• Lead or support QA/QC reviews of survey deliverables for accuracy and standards compliance.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to define scope and resolve technical issues.
• Mentor junior surveyors and field staff while maintaining accurate project and field-data records.
• Contribute to process improvements, technology adoption, and internal technical or cultural groups.

Requirements

• Associate degree in Surveying, Civil Engineering Technology, or Natural Resource Management with a Land Surveying Technology concentration; a bachelor's degree is preferred.
• 5+ years of relevant survey experience.
• Proficiency with MicroStation, OpenRoads, and GeoPak.
• AutoCAD experience required.
• Ability to collaborate effectively as part of a team.
• An Ohio Professional Surveyor license and DOT right-of-way prequalification designer/reviewer experience are preferred.
