Senior Survey Coordinator (Land Surveying)

Location: Westwood, Massachusetts, with a hybrid schedule requiring at least three days in the office, including Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Must be available to work up to five days in the office when needed and travel between Massachusetts, Connecticut, and New Hampshire.

Annual salary: $104,650–$116,280, with potential incentive eligibility.

What you will do

• Coordinate land survey work performed by internal employees, field crews, and external vendors.
• Review and approve vendor deliverables, invoices, schedules, budgets, and scopes of work.
• Prepare RFPs, select approved survey vendors, and provide technical direction and training.
• Act as the survey subject matter expert and point of contact for project teams, customers, and business partners.
• Perform calculations, research, field investigations, and office work related to property boundaries and rights of way.
• Provide project status updates, reports, budget projections, and limited real estate investigations.

Requirements

• At least five years of progressive field and office experience covering land surveying.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Civil Engineering Technology, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Thorough knowledge of land surveying principles, boundary surveying, mapping, property law, real estate terminology, civil engineering plans, and applicable Massachusetts surveying regulations.
• Required experience with AutoCAD, Total Stations, Data Collectors, GPS equipment, and related software.
• Ability to coordinate multiple projects, lead groups, work independently, communicate clearly, and provide customer service.
• Valid driver’s license required; availability for emergency storm assignments and travel between Massachusetts, Connecticut, and New Hampshire required.

Nice to have

• Experience with Civil 3D.
• Licensed Land Surveyor certification.
