Bridge CAD Technician

Location: Houston, Texas, United States; primarily office-based

What you will do

• Review construction plans, detailed drawings, and technical figures for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with design standards.
• Convert conceptual sketches, redlines, and markups into production-ready CAD drawings.
• Develop preliminary and final engineering plan sets for bridge projects.
• Coordinate design elements with engineers, designers, project managers, and other drafters.
• Prepare technical reports, design documentation, and supporting project deliverables.
• Incorporate revisions and feedback while maintaining drawing integrity and project timelines.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of related bridge CAD experience, preferably in Texas.
• Proficiency with some or all of AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and MicroStation.
• Ability to work primarily in the Houston office environment.
• Ability to perform frequent sitting, talking, hearing, and repetitive motions, with occasional standing, moving, reaching, handling, and coordination.
• Ability to complete applicable pre-employment substance screening and background checks.
