Salary: $105,000–$150,000 annually, depending on experience.

What you will do
- Design roadways and perform engineering analyses covering alignments, corridor design, grading, typical sections, maintenance of traffic, and drainage coordination.
- Prepare plans, specifications, and estimates in accordance with CDOT, AASHTO, and local agency requirements.
- Coordinate with traffic, drainage, structures, utilities, lighting, landscape, and environmental professionals.
- Support scope development, budgeting, scheduling, quality assurance, and quality control reviews.
- Prepare technical reports, design memoranda, calculations, and project documentation.
- Participate in client meetings, stakeholder coordination, proposals, mentoring, and professional development.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
- 6+ years of roadway or transportation engineering experience.
- Professional Engineer license in Colorado or ability to obtain Colorado PE licensure within 6 months.
- Experience applying AASHTO, CDOT, and local agency roadway design criteria.
- Proficiency with MicroStation/OpenRoads, AutoCAD Civil 3D, or comparable roadway design software; Civil 3D is preferred.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams.
Nice to have
- Experience delivering PS&E packages for municipal, county, or state transportation projects.
- Consulting experience with public-sector clients and familiarity with Front Range client standards.
- Interest in leadership, mentorship, project management, and managing multiple assignments.
