Senior Manager Purchasing (Aviation)

Location: Barcelona, Spain. Hybrid work with up to 2 days per week from home, depending on team needs.

What you will do

• Create strategic procurement initiatives across categories and business units in collaboration with category leads and regional teams.
• Build and prioritize an initiative pipeline based on priority and ROI.
• Own the timely execution of large strategic sourcing projects using hirify.global’s digital procurement tools.
• Deliver RFPs, RFX processes, e-auctions, outsourcing initiatives, and transformation project sourcing.
• Align procurement initiatives with hirify.global transformation projects and provide savings, spend, and performance reporting.
• Manage one direct report, mitigate procurement risk, and deliver commercial benefits for hirify.global and its clients.

Requirements

• 10+ years of IT or indirect procurement experience in a global environment.
• Leadership experience and ability to manage one direct report.
• Business partnering, relationship building, and negotiation skills.
• Contract drafting experience.
• Experience with RFP, RFX, and e-auction processes.
• Digital tools experience and strong IT literacy.
• Commercial mindset, numeracy, inquisitiveness, and innovation.
• Ability to work collaboratively and independently.

Nice to have

• Degree or MCIPS qualification.
