What you will do

• Develop and analyze anti-tamper and protective technology capabilities for embedded and electronic systems.
• Design and develop electronics subsystems using embedded commercial processors, ASICs, SoCs, GPUs, and FPGAs.
• Turn up custom hardware prototypes and mature them into deployable solutions.
• Design, simulate, synthesize, close, test, and validate IP for FPGA and ASIC projects.
• Perform embedded debugging, emulation, laboratory testing, troubleshooting, and design improvement.
• Collaborate with small, multidisciplinary, mission-driven engineering teams across the full development lifecycle.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a relevant technical field, with 10+ years of direct embedded systems development experience.
• Active Secret security clearance or the ability to obtain a Department of Defense security clearance.
• Experience understanding schematics, performing laboratory tests, turning up custom electronics, and troubleshooting embedded designs.
• Advanced C programming skills.
• Experience with FPGA development using VHDL and/or Verilog.
• Experience with IP design, simulation, synthesis, closure, and validation.

Nice to have

• Advanced degree with 15+ years of relevant experience and/or an active Top Secret clearance.
• Technical leadership or architecture experience on embedded projects.
• Experience with microcode, secure boot, real-time systems, hardware drivers, cryptographic implementations, and secure processors.
• Hardware security experience, including tamper research, side-channel attacks, fault injection, and reverse-engineering threat vectors.
• Experience with customer interactions, proposal development, technical documentation, systems development plans, and mentoring junior personnel.
