Restructuring – Associate & Engagement Manager (m/w/d) – Germany (Management Consulting)

What you will do

• Advise companies and financiers on strategic, operational, and financial restructuring.
• Develop sustainable restructuring concepts addressing market conditions, competitive success, liquidity, and long-term financial viability.
• Break down complex problems, plan and execute analyses, identify core issues, and develop recommendations.
• Work directly with clients and project teams to move engagements forward.
• Lead project teams and manage small teams through structured problem-solving processes.
• Ensure recommendations are correct, practical, relevant, cohesive, and executable.

Requirements

• 3–8 years of relevant experience, ideally with a top-tier strategy consulting firm or similar organization.
• In-depth knowledge of the relevant sector gained through industry or consulting experience.
• Strong strategic problem-solving background and demonstrable analytical skills.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
• Fluency in English and German is required.
• Undergraduate or advanced degree from a top academic program and willingness to travel.
