What you will do

• Provide independent construction risk advisory and due diligence services, reviewing drawings, specifications, schedules, and budgets.
• Lead construction loan monitoring activities, conducting site inspections and validating draw requests against work in place.
• Analyze contractor pay applications, lien waivers, and change orders to identify project health and financial risks.
• Collaborate with lenders, developers, and contractors as a trusted advisor to provide funding recommendations.
• Prepare comprehensive monthly reports communicating project status and emerging risks through completion.

Requirements

• Degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
• Several years of hands-on experience managing or evaluating construction projects and project controls.
• Ability to confidently interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contracts across multiple disciplines.
• Strong analytical skills for evaluating project budgets and cost-to-complete forecasts.
• Must be based in the Eastern United States near a major airport.
• Available to travel up to 50% of the time.
