Business Consultant (Remote Opportunity)

Location: Remote within the United States; travel may be required for meetings.

Salary: $87,282–$139,425 per year.

What you will do

• Lead project execution activities for business lines across the full project lifecycle.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams, business partners, and project resources to plan, develop, test, and implement initiatives.
• Develop business cases, requirements documents, gap analyses, process flows, data mappings, and other execution deliverables.
• Manage project plans, milestones, risks, mitigation activities, forecasts, and resource expenditures.
• Develop test plans, execute test scripts, track defects, and document testing results.
• Build trusted relationships with business leaders and identify opportunities to improve productivity and operational efficiency.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Experience with complex project management, software development lifecycle, organizational change management, leadership, and relationship management.
• Knowledge of program or project management, business analysis, or test management practices.
• Experience managing cross-functional relationships and groups.
• Advanced knowledge of relevant tools such as MS Office, MS Project, and Visio.
• Ability to work independently, communicate effectively, and guide others within an area of expertise.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of banking or financial services.
• Project management certifications such as PgMP, PMP, CSM, or ACP.
• Business analysis certifications such as ECBA, CCBA, or CBAP.
