Sr. Strategic Commercial Banking Consultant (Fintech)

What you will do

• Lead strategic commercial banking implementation engagements and advise financial institution stakeholders on solution design, operational alignment, and best practices.
• Serve as the senior subject matter expert for Business ACH, Business Wires, Business Admin, Business Reports, BAI2, Limit Management, Import Mapper, Householding, and Auto Billing.
• Analyze customer operating models, map commercial banking processes to platform capabilities, and recommend scalable workflows and configuration improvements.
• Lead hosted commercial user acceptance testing, validate business workflows, and improve customer readiness before production deployment.
• Translate business banking requirements into technical and operational recommendations while coordinating Product, Engineering, Implementation, Technical Consulting, and Customer Success teams.
• Influence product strategy, develop implementation frameworks, advise on escalations, and mentor implementation and customer-facing consultants.

Requirements

• 10–15 years of experience in commercial banking consulting, enterprise banking implementations, treasury management operations, or business banking transformation.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Information Systems, Banking, or a related field.
• Deep expertise in commercial banking operations, treasury management services, business banking products, workflows, ACH, wires, reporting, and limit management.
• Experience leading executive customer engagements, operational transformation initiatives, enterprise implementations, user acceptance testing, and operational readiness activities.
• Strong analytical, communication, stakeholder management, implementation strategy, and cross-functional leadership skills.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States; employment sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

• Experience with fintech, SaaS, or digital banking commercial banking platforms.
• Knowledge of banking integrations, BAI2 processing, treasury management workflows, change management, or enterprise implementation methodologies.
• Experience influencing product roadmaps, mentoring consultants, or supporting strategic customer escalations and executive advisory engagements.
