What you will do

• Lead and coordinate external audit engagements, acting as the primary contact for auditors to ensure timely delivery.
• Prepare statutory financial statements and associated note disclosures.
• Analyze differences between US GAAP, IFRS, and FRS 102 to prepare necessary journal entries for statutory reporting.
• Draft technical accounting papers and conduct assessments for non-routine transactions such as acquisitions and restructurings.
• Support the month-end close process and ensure the accuracy of financial results.
• Implement SOX-related control enhancements and design new internal controls to incorporate evolving business needs.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; professional certification (CPA, ACCA) preferred.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting under US GAAP, IFRS, and FRS 102.
• Deep understanding of accounting principles and financial instruments, including derivatives.
• Ability to work full-time in an office environment in London.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the use of complex functions.
• Experience in the financial services industry is considered an advantage.
