What you will do
- Provide senior leadership to the SPV Product Control team, setting direction and standards for delivery and risk management.
- Hold end-to-end accountability for SPV financial control and reporting compliant with IFRS and internal policies.
- Lead monthly, quarterly, and year-end SPV P&L and balance sheet reporting.
- Maintain a robust control environment, specifically managing SOX controls, reconciliations, and risk assessments.
- Own senior relationships with external auditors and lead the audit cycle.
- Oversee change initiatives impacting SPVs to ensure robust accounting and system design.
Requirements
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA etc) with 3+ years of experience.
- Experience within the financial services sector.
- 2+ years of leadership and line management experience.
- Proven ability to build and manage relationships with key stakeholders across an organization.
- Competent use of Finance Systems and Microsoft 365, specifically Excel.
- Must be able to work from the Edinburgh office (Hybrid).
