What you will do

• Lead and manage the monthly close process for the UK region, ensuring data accuracy and compliance with internal and external regulations.
• Standardize and simplify month-end close procedures to reduce cycle times and eliminate operational bottlenecks.
• Generate regional reporting packs and provide variance analysis and actionable insights for senior management.
• Strengthen internal controls surrounding the financial reporting process to minimize risk.
• Collaborate with FP&A, group finance, and tax functions to ensure process alignment and integration.
• Support the Financial Director with year-end audit delivery and coordinate with internal and external auditors.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• Professional qualification (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA) and minimum 5 years post-qualification experience.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in audit, financial control, and month-end reporting.
• Proven experience in a Senior Finance Manager or Financial Controller role.
• Proficiency in NetSuite and advanced Excel skills.
• Minimum 3 years of line management experience leading a team of at least 3 people.
