Project Engineer (Civil Engineering)

Salary: From $90,000 per year, negotiable based on experience and qualifications.

What you will do

• Prepare, review, and ensure the accuracy and quality of civil engineering designs and deliverables.
• Coordinate engineers, designers, drafters, field staff, and support personnel throughout project delivery.
• Evaluate design approaches, establish technical solutions, and review work against client expectations.
• Prepare reports, proposals, cost estimates, bid packages, permit applications, and other technical documents.
• Maintain project schedules and budgets while communicating scope, timeline, and cost risks to the Project Manager.
• Support client relationships, business development, and selected projects as an Assistant Project Manager.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• 4+ years of relevant civil engineering experience.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, GIS, and REVIT.
• Working knowledge of permitting processes and funding agency requirements.
• Strong written and verbal communication, problem-solving, technical judgment, and time-management skills.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to project sites as needed.

Nice to have

• Ohio Professional Engineer license or the ability to obtain it within twelve months.
