Project Manager – Water/Wastewater – West Coast

Location: United States; remote or hybrid, reporting to the Roseville, California office. Travel of up to 20% may be required.

Salary: $120,000–$200,000 USD per year, plus performance-based bonuses and equity participation.

What you will do

• Lead drinking water and wastewater infrastructure projects, including pipelines, pump stations, storage facilities, and treatment systems.
• Manage multiple concurrent projects, schedules, budgets, quality standards, and delivery outcomes.
• Coordinate engineers, CAD designers, subconsultants, and other project stakeholders.
• Provide technical leadership across water and wastewater system planning, funding, design, and operations.
• Manage client relationships and support business development, recruiting, collaboration, and knowledge sharing.
• Mentor junior staff through coaching, training, and performance feedback.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license in California required.
• At least 10 years of water/wastewater engineering experience required.
• Proven experience managing projects, teams, schedules, and budgets.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams and deliver successful client outcomes.

Nice to have

• Experience with pump station and water/wastewater treatment design.
