What you will do

• Apply advanced AI and ML algorithms to solve complex problems involving biological, genomic, and healthcare data.
• Manage the full solution development lifecycle from ideation and design to implementation and deployment.
• Collaborate with biostatisticians, bioinformatics scientists, and data scientists to advance cancer eradication goals.
• Contribute to the strategic vision and AI strategy to enhance internal bioinformatics and data science processes.
• Provide mentorship and coaching to junior team members.
• Deliver proof-of-concept solutions within an iterative Agile framework.

Requirements

• Ph.D. in Statistics, Computational Biology, Computer Science, or a related field (or Master's with 4+ years of experience).
• 3+ years of experience with AI/ML algorithms and quantitative research.
• Strong proficiency in Python and ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or SKLearn.
• Demonstrated experience with LLMs, Generative AI, transformer architectures, and RAG.
• Knowledge of deep learning, neural networks, NLP, and computer vision.
• Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Nice to have

• 2+ years of experience in life sciences, specifically molecular or cancer diagnostics.
• Expertise in healthcare data mining to generate clinical insights.
• Basic knowledge of ML-Ops for versioning and deployment of models.
• Scientific understanding of cancer biology.
