What you will do

• Lead the definition and development of the AI strategy and roadmap for the Silk browser.
• Design and build scalable AI solutions for intelligent browsing assistance and personalized content discovery.
• Conduct innovative research in LLMs, generative AI, and NLP to transform traditional web interaction paradigms.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to transition ML innovations into large-scale production environments.
• Mentor other scientists and contribute to the global scientific community through publications and knowledge sharing.

Requirements

• PhD, or a Master's degree with 6+ years of applied research experience.
• 3+ years of experience building machine learning models for business applications.
• Proficiency in programming with Java, C++, Python, or related languages.
• Strong expertise in neural deep learning methods and machine learning.
• Must be based in or able to work from Seattle, WA, USA.

Nice to have

• Experience with modeling tools such as R, scikit-learn, Spark MLLib, MxNet, TensorFlow, NumPy, or SciPy.
• Experience with large-scale distributed systems such as Hadoop or Spark.
