Environmental Project Manager (Environmental)

Location: Patchogue, New York, United States. Workplace: On-site

Salary: $80,000 - $100,000

What you will do

• Manage NYSDEC Spill projects and Brownfield Cleanup Program (BCP) sites, including Site Characterizations and Remedial Investigations.
• Design and manage field work for groundwater, soil, soil vapor, and surface water sampling.
• Oversee project execution, including proposal writing, cost estimating, and invoicing.
• Supervise contractors and drillers and mentor junior engineering and science staff.
• Handle heavy client communication and coordinate with regulatory agencies.
• Perform business development activities and ensure adherence to QA/QC policies.

Requirements

• B.S. degree in Engineering (Chemical or Environmental) or Geology.
• 8-16 years of experience managing Phase II ESAs and Brownfield Cleanup Program projects.
• Must have a valid NYS driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to work independently and within a multi-disciplined professional group.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• NY State Licensed Professional Engineer or Professional Geologist is a plus.
