Financial Analyst (Finance)

TL;DR

Financial Analyst (Finance): Providing financial analysis, planning, and reporting to enable effective decision-making with an accent on accurate forecasts, performance insights, and financial governance. Focus on building driver-based models, analyzing P&L/EBITDA drivers, and translating complex data into actionable executive recommendations.

Location: Remote Eligible (Must be based in the US; occasional travel to retail store locations and offices in Anchorage, AK may be required)

What you will do

• Develop annual and multi-year plans, budgets, and rolling forecasts to ensure alignment with group guidance.
• Build and automate complex financial and driver-based models to support investment appraisals and business cases.
• Deliver monthly and quarterly reporting with detailed variance analysis of revenue, COGS, and Opex.
• Partner with business leaders to provide data-driven insights and recommendations for resource allocation.
• Drive continuous improvement of finance tools and processes, incorporating AI tools to increase precision and efficiency.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, Economics, or a relevant field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial analysis, accounting, or finance.
• At least 1 year of direct experience in financial modeling.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, including formulas, dynamic charts, and macros.
• Reliable transportation for occasional travel between retail store locations and offices.

Nice to have

• Master's degree (MBA, Accounting, or Finance).
• CPA or CFA certifications.
• Knowledge of Oracle or equivalent accounting systems.
• Experience within the telecommunications industry.
