Salary: $105,000 - $150,000

What you will do

• Act as a technical lead for moderate to complex NGS product development projects, advancing them from proof-of-concept to production.
• Design and optimize NGS assays and nucleic acid extraction chemistries.
• Conduct bench-level experiments, identify discrepancies, and analyze complex genomic data.
• Prepare regulatory documentation, technical procedures, and formal reports for project meetings.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with bioinformatics, clinical operations, and quality teams.
• Train and mentor research associates.

Requirements

• PhD in life sciences, medical technology, or related field (or Master's + 4 years / Bachelor's + 6 years of related experience).
• 1+ years of experience in medical device/IVD, biotech, or pharmaceutical industries.
• Proven ability to apply molecular biology and biochemical techniques.
• Understanding of GMP, ISO, and Quality Systems.
• Knowledge of statistical methods and software such as JMP.
• Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience with DNA library construction and target enrichment for NGS platforms.
• Experience with cfDNA-based assays and laboratory automation platforms.
• Proficiency in R, Python, or other advanced data analysis tools.
• Knowledge of cancer biology, genetics, genomics, and/or epigenetics.
