Salary: $117,000–$157,000 base compensation annually

What you will do

• Design, develop, and scale purification processes for oligonucleotides and peptides from early development through commercial manufacturing.
• Apply statistical analysis and Design of Experiments to characterize processes and define robust control strategies.
• Lead or support technology transfer into GMP manufacturing.
• Troubleshoot process challenges and improve process performance.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Analytical, Quality, Non-Clinical, and Regulatory teams.
• Author technical reports, contribute to CMC regulatory filings, and respond to agency questions.

Requirements

• Ph.D. in chemical engineering, chemistry, or a related science with 0–3 years of experience; or a master’s degree with 4+ years of experience; or a bachelor’s degree with 6+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience in purification process development, preferably in an industrial pharmaceutical or biotech environment.
• Strong analytical and statistical analysis skills.
• Proficiency in technical writing and presenting technical data.
• Ability to work collaboratively across functional teams.

Nice to have

• Experience developing processes for oligonucleotides, peptides, or proteins.
• Familiarity with GMP manufacturing processes.
