Senior Product Designer (AI)

Location: Remote within the United States

Salary: $170K–$250K annually, depending on hiring location and level.

What you will do

• Own design end-to-end for a core product area, from discovery through high-fidelity Figma designs.
• Lead customer discovery sessions, usability tests, and workflow research, translating findings into product decisions.
• Design intuitive experiences for multi-step automation workflows, AI-generated content, data-dense tables, and high-stakes decision surfaces.
• Design AI-native interactions involving uncertainty states, intervention controls, streaming content, and graceful error handling.
• Build and maintain Figma component libraries and scalable design system assets.
• Partner closely with Product Management and Engineering while balancing design quality with delivery velocity.

Requirements

• Portfolio demonstrating high-craft visual and interaction design for dense layouts and multi-step workflows.
• Deep proficiency in Figma, including variables, auto-layout, variants, prototyping, and component libraries.
• Experience designing AI-native user experiences with probabilistic outputs.
• Ability to design approachable data-dense interfaces with tables, filtering, sorting, and bulk actions.
• Strong user research skills, including interviews, qualitative synthesis, and connecting insights to design decisions.
• Accessibility proficiency covering WCAG, ARIA, color and contrast, keyboard navigation, and motion sensitivity.

• Experience contributing to or building design systems and reusable component architectures.
• Strong product judgment, communication skills, and the ability to balance craft with shipping decisions.
• Visual design and brand experience extending beyond product interfaces.
