What you will do

• Manage R2R shared services and financial systems to generate timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Direct financial internal controls management to verify the integrity of financial information and safeguard assets.
• Review and approve monthly accounting entries within the PeopleSoft G/L system according to established timelines.
• Coordinate internal and external audits, including specific requirements for Federal Awards (Uniform Guidance).
• Manage federal, state, and local tax reporting and accumulate data for annual 990 returns.
• Lead, recruit, and develop a diverse accounting staff within a complex matrix organization.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, or a related field.
• 5 to 7 years of accounting experience.
• Leadership experience.
• Proficiency in GAAP and financial statement close processes.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in accounting.
• CPA certification or HFMA certifications.
• Experience in complex organizations with $100 million or more in annual revenue.
• Previous managerial experience.
