What you will do

• Design, implement, and troubleshoot the RNEC-NCR network infrastructure, including the Installation Campus Area Network (ICAN).
• Manage hardware installations and software updates for LAN, WAN, and SONET equipment.
• Respond to critical and VIP tickets via Remedy within a strict 2-hour window.
• Maintain network security integrity and ensure compliance with Information Assurance (IA) requirements.
• Supervise intermediate and junior network engineers in operational activities.
• Provide COMSEC support, including managing cryptographic keying material and devices.

Requirements

• Must possess an active SECRET security clearance.
• IAT-Level II Certification (e.g., CompTIA Security+).
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant network engineering experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills for interacting with government officials.

Nice to have

• Certifications: CompTIA A+, Network+, MCSA, MCSE, CCENT, CCNA, CCNP, or VMware Certified Professional.
• In-depth knowledge of communication networks and systems employed by the customer.
