TL;DR
Director of Business Development (AI Infrastructure): Building and managing relationships with chip suppliers, OEMs, and hyperscalers to identify early demand signals for AI factories with an accent on ecosystem intelligence and strategic partnerships. Focus on translating emerging hardware trends into actionable opportunity paths and ensuring seamless intelligence flow to sales and product teams.
Location: Must be based in one of the following US locations: Denver, CO; Phoenix, AZ; Santa Clara, CA; Ashburn, VA, or Austin, TX
Salary: $220,000–$230,000 Base + Bonus

What you will do
- Build and manage senior relationships with key partners including Nvidia, AMD, Google, Amazon, and Broadcom.
- Identify and qualify early-stage AI Factory and advanced compute opportunities in North America.
- Track emerging hardware models (TPUs, ASICs, rack-scale designs) and assess their impact on market dynamics.
- Develop region-specific partnerships and joint ventures to unlock supply and reduce time-to-compute.
- Coordinate with Market Strategy and Product teams to integrate system architecture insights into design roadmaps.
- Execute the regional BD operating rhythm, including pipeline reviews and intelligence briefings.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Technology, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in business development or strategic partnerships within high-tech, semiconductors, or data center sectors.
- Deep understanding of AI infrastructure and chip ecosystems (GPU, TPU, ASIC).
- Experience working within global, matrixed organizations with cross-functional stakeholders.
- Strong analytical skills to translate complex market signals into actionable business pathways.
- Ability to travel 30–50%.
