What you will do
- Develop and execute comprehensive territory and account plans to consistently exceed quarterly and annual sales metrics.
- Lead end-to-end, value-driven enterprise sales cycles employing "Land & Expand" strategies.
- Orchestrate cross-functional teams, providing guidance to BDRs, Field Marketing, and Channel Directors.
- Collaborate with Pre-Sales Engineering to scope and deliver impactful Proof of Concepts (POCs) and technical proposals.
- Manage strategic co-sell relationships with public cloud partners including AWS, Google Cloud, and Microsoft Azure.
- Maintain rigorous CRM hygiene within Salesforce.com for accurate reporting and forecasting.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 7+ years of experience meeting or exceeding quotas selling technical enterprise software.
- Experience with structured sales methodologies such as MEDDPICC, consultative selling, or value selling.
- Proven track record of presenting to and managing relationships with C-level executives.
- Ability to communicate effectively across both business and technical stakeholders.
- Must be based in Australia.
Nice to have
- Experience selling NoSQL, relational databases, or data platforms, preferably into the Financial Services sector.
- Knowledge of commercial open-source software (COSS) business models.
- Deep understanding of cloud provider ecosystems (AWS, GCP, Azure), ETL, and Generative AI integrations.
- Experience working in an agile, high-growth software environment.
