Founding Product Designer (UI/UX)

TL;DR

Founding Product Designer (Product Design): Owning end-to-end product experiences and shaping design strategy for a reward-based marketing platform with an accent on visual and interaction design. Focus on leading the UI process from concept to implementation and validating decisions through user research and data analysis.

Location: On-site in Berlin (5 days a week)

Compensation: €90K – €120K + Equity

What you will do

• Lead the end-to-end UI design process from initial concept to final implementation.
• Shape the overall design strategy, balancing speed, quality, and business impact.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, and Data Science teams.
• Conduct user research, usability testing, and data analysis to refine design decisions.
• Drive design critiques and stakeholder alignment sessions, articulating the rationale behind design choices.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience designing mobile-first products with a strong portfolio.
• Exceptional visual design skills with a focus on detail, hierarchy, and accessibility.
• Data-driven mindset, utilizing research and analytics to measure success.
• Strong communication skills for presenting designs persuasively across teams.
• Technical understanding of front-end development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).

Nice to have

• Experience with motion design.
• Experience implementing gamified elements.
