What you will do

  • Hire, train, and staff operators to ensure production complies with SOP, WI, and safety/quality regulations.
  • Serve as the primary workshop safety owner, aiming for zero recordable accidents and leading LSGA activities.
  • Supervise daily production personnel, promoting best practices and managing performance.
  • Manage production lines using tier meetings and Gemba walks to resolve people, machine, material, and method issues.
  • Implement Lean and Six Sigma activities to eliminate waste, reduce variations, and optimize workflows.
  • Collaborate with other departments to complete assigned tasks and provide operational support.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of experience in production management, preferably with a process or equipment background.
  • Proficiency in 6S, Lean, and Six Sigma knowledge to improve SQDCI.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to identify and mitigate potential risks.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills to deploy resources efficiently.
  • Ability to build effective teams and enhance subordinate engagement.
  • Customer-focused mindset to meet internal and external requirements.
