What you will do
- Drive sales revenue for Nature Portfolio services, partner content, sponsorships, and custom research solutions.
- Develop and execute sales strategies to acquire new clients and build a sustainable revenue pipeline.
- Manage key institutional and government accounts to strengthen relationships and increase spend.
- Oversee large-scale commercial projects from initiation through to successful delivery and sale.
- Collaborate with internal editorial, marketing, production, and project management teams.
- Conduct frequent business trips within the defined territory in China.
Requirements
- Undergraduate degree, preferably in science, medicine, education, or commerce management.
- At least 5 years of experience in professional services, business development, or sales.
- Proven track record of B2B client-facing experience with senior executives at academic organizations.
- Experience in institutional selling and key account management.
- Proficiency in English (written and verbal).
- Familiarity with CRM systems such as Salesforce.

- Experience specifically within the science and publishing industries.
- Existing connections and resources within the academic market.
