What you will do
- Draft and negotiate a variety of commercial agreements, including enterprise SaaS, NDAs, MOUs, and partnership agreements.
- Provide practical legal and compliance advice to internal stakeholders, specifically commercial and sales teams.
- Identify and mitigate regulatory risks associated with teleradiology and medical-device software (HIPAA, FDA, FTC).
- Support corporate governance for US entities and collaborate with a global legal team across multiple time zones.
- Partner with security specialists to ensure compliance with HIPAA, GDPR, CCPA, and other data privacy requirements.
- Develop and maintain compliance policies, controls, and training frameworks.
Requirements
- US-qualified lawyer with 3–6 years PQE.
- In-house experience in technology, SaaS, or healthcare.
- Working knowledge of HIPAA and US regulatory frameworks (FDA, FTC).
- Strong experience in commercial contracting for SaaS or teleradiology services.
- Must be based in the USA.
Nice to have
- Licensed in New York and/or California.
- Prior training at a top-tier or international law firm.
- Privacy or compliance certification (e.g., CIPP/US).
- Experience with ISO and SOC2 compliance.
- Exposure to government procurement and tender processes.
