VP, Compliance Strategy & Initiatives Lead (Project Management): Supporting Compliance-owned projects and strategic initiatives to enhance the Compliance program with an accent on project management, regulatory alignment, and strategic planning. Focus on leading functional workstreams, ensuring timely delivery of regulatory requirements, and collaborating across matrixed organizations.
Location: Hybrid - Must be based near a Hub (e.g., Stamford, CT) and be authorized to work in the U.S.
Salary: $110,000 - $185,000 Annual

What you will do
- Lead Compliance-owned strategic projects and initiatives to meet annual business and regulatory goals.
- Partner with leadership to establish roadmaps and formal project plans/charters.
- Manage functional workstreams to ensure clear objectives and timely completion of tasks.
- Develop status reporting and metrics to track project progress and escalate risks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure awareness of dependencies and deliverables.
- Support operational routines including staffing capacity planning and annual goal tracking.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years’ experience in Compliance Risk management in a financial institution (or 9+ years without degree).
- Project Management certification (PMP) or a proven history of managing large-scale projects.
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required; no sponsorship available.
- Ability and flexibility to travel for business as required.
- Strong knowledge of Compliance Risk Management and regulatory expectations.
Nice to have
- Ability to leverage artificial intelligence to optimize efficiency.
- Proficiency in Tableau, SharePoint, and eGRC tools.
- Experience creating leadership dashboards and reporting views.
