What you will do

• Prepare and maintain detailed commissioning schedules and proactively plan major milestones.
• Execute commissioning efforts to ensure compliance with specifications and timely client turnover.
• Perform thorough system walk-downs and reviews to identify outstanding items and establish completion status.
• Act as a subject matter expert in Protection System design, settings, testing, and NERC CIP security zone commissioning.
• Review and approve relay calibration, operation tests, and AC acceptance (load checks).
• Conduct post-commissioning reviews of all documentation and provide technical feedback.

Requirements

• Must be able to complete pre-employment background checks, drug screens, and motor vehicle records searches.
• OSHA 10 Hour Training certification.
• Ability to perform hard physical labor in extreme temperatures for up to 12-hour shifts.
• Capability to lift 50 lbs, climb ladders/scaffolds, and work in confined high-voltage environments.
• Visa Sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

• NICET or NETA Certification.
• 5+ years of relevant startup and commissioning experience.
• Knowledge of power plant technical principles and internal engineering tools.
