What you will do
- Draft and finalize production contracts, including SAG-AFTRA, talent deals, and content licensing agreements.
- Manage music rights for advertising, including synchronization licenses and master use authorizations.
- Execute contracts with ad agencies, production houses, and influencer partners.
- Provide legal guidance on AI utilization and ownership of AI-generated content.
- Facilitate rights acquisition and intellectual property clearances for commercial productions.
- Build scalable production workflows and contract management processes.
Requirements
- Juris Doctor from an ABA-accredited law school.
- Current bar admission in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
- 5+ years of legal practice, with 4+ years dedicated to commercial advertising or media business affairs.
- Expertise in SAG-AFTRA guild rules and signatory responsibilities.
- Experience in IP licensing and content clearance agreements.
- Must be based in the US.
Nice to have
- Experience at an advertising agency, production company, or talent agency.
- Background in music publishing or synchronization licensing.
- Prior experience in a fast-paced tech startup or direct-to-consumer brand.
- Knowledge of healthcare privacy laws and regulatory frameworks.
