What you will do

• Optimize end-to-end commercial contracting for SaaS/API subscriptions, enterprise licenses, and partnership agreements.
• Partner with Finance and Accounting to ensure contract structures align with ASC 606 revenue recognition requirements.
• Develop and maintain contract management workflows, approval matrices, and governance playbooks.
• Build and operate governance controls to support SOX compliance and internal controls over financial reporting.
• Manage disclosure-support processes for material agreements and SEC reporting requirements.
• Deploy LLM and AI tooling to scale contracting throughput and reduce manual handling.

Requirements

• 8–10 years of experience in legal program management, legal operations, or contracts management, preferably in tech/SaaS.
• Deep practical knowledge of sell-side commercial contracting processes.
• Working familiarity with ASC 606 revenue recognition principles.
• Strong project management skills and the ability to drive results in a fast-paced scaling environment.
• Must be based in or able to work from San Francisco, CA or Seattle, WA.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Nice to have

• Experience in a public company environment and familiarity with SOX compliance.
• Hands-on experience with Ironclad or other CLM tools (Icertis, DocuSign CLM, Salesforce).
• Professional certifications such as PMP or CPCM.
• Interest in AI policy and AI safety.
