What you will do
- Lead procurement strategy across direct production and indirect spend categories.
- Manage and mentor a team of buyers, overseeing day-to-day purchasing operations.
- Optimize cost, quality, and delivery terms through strategic supplier negotiations.
- Oversee the purchase order lifecycle and ensure compliance with internal policies.
- Coordinate procurement activities with engineering, operations, and finance teams.
- Drive supplier performance improvements and cost reduction initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management.
- Proven experience managing or leading a team of procurement professionals.
- Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite.
- Must be based in or able to work from Teaneck, NJ.
Nice to have
- Experience in automotive tech or hardware/electronics manufacturing.
- Knowledge of global sourcing and supplier networks.
- Data-driven approach with experience tracking procurement KPIs.
