What you will do

• Own the AI content operations product roadmap, deciding what to build, buy, or retire.
• Develop AI-powered tools for metadata generation, doc-to-CMS conversion, and content quality checks.
• Build functional prototypes independently using Node.js and TypeScript to validate ideas and sharpen requirements.
• Partner with marketing and learning teams to identify workflow frictions and AI opportunities.
• Drive tool adoption within daily workflows and make strategic build-vs-buy decisions.
• Collaborate closely with engineering by pairing on problems and leveraging AI development tools.

Requirements

• Must be based in New York City (Hybrid).
• Proven background in content operations including content calendars, brief-to-publish workflows, and SEO.
• Proficiency in Node.js, TypeScript, and modern web frameworks for building web apps and prototypes.
• Deep familiarity with headless CMS architecture (Sanity experience is a strong plus).
• Experience evaluating, prompting, and integrating LLM APIs into real-world workflows.
• Ability to architect tools connecting CMS, analytics, and model providers.

Nice to have

• Experience using AI development tools like Claude Code or Cursor.
