Salary: $119,000 – $170,000 USD

What you will do

• Lead the end-to-end product strategy for discovering and classifying sensitive data across cloud, on-prem, and SaaS applications.
• Own the classification taxonomy, labeling standards, and policy model, including custom categories and confidence thresholds.
• Drive accuracy improvements by managing precision/recall targets, sampling strategies, and customer feedback loops.
• Set requirements for enterprise-scale scanning, optimizing for cost, latency, and coverage across billions of objects.
• Define the integration of pattern-based detectors, NLP/ML, and LLM-assisted classification for structured and unstructured data.

Requirements

• Product Management experience with meaningful ownership of data security or privacy products (Data Science experience may be substituted).
• Demonstrated experience shipping AI/ML and/or LLM products into production.
• Expertise in evaluation and quality measurement for classification systems and maintaining golden datasets.
• Ability to design human-in-the-loop workflows for high-stakes labels and audit trails.
• Experience managing cost and performance tradeoffs for AI at scale, including compute budgeting and model selection.
• Must be based in San Jose, CA or the US West Coast.

Nice to have

• Strong technical collaboration skills with ML engineering and data science teams.
• Familiarity with embedding-based similarity, vector DBs, and semantic retrieval.
• Prior experience in DSPM, DLP, CASB, or insider risk management.
