Salary: $144K – $190K + Equity

What you will do

• Own the end-to-end intake process for all legal matters, including demand letters, subpoenas, and arbitration threats.
• Draft and send initial responses to users based on templates and escalation protocols, calibrating tone for adversarial situations.
• Maintain the case tracking system and disputes files to ensure no deadlines or hearings are missed.
• Administer legal holds and preservation notices, partnering with IT and People teams.
• Improve and structurally redesign intake workflows, response playbooks, and decision trees to scale the function.
• Leverage AI tools (Claude, Glean, GC AI) to drive efficiency and build automated safety nets.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (required).
• 7+ years of experience in legal support, project management, or as a paralegal in litigation or high-volume legal environments.
• In-house litigation or regulatory experience, ideally at a marketplace, fintech, or consumer tech platform.
• Demonstrated fluency with AI tools to build real workflows, not just basic chatbot usage.
• Strong written and oral communication skills with a capacity for concise and calibrated messaging.
• Must be based within commuting distance of San Francisco, New York, Seattle, or Los Angeles hubs.
