Salary: $110,000 – $140,000

What you will do
- Manage the legal department budget, including planning, tracking, and forecasting in partnership with Finance.
- Oversee outside counsel relationships, including rate negotiations, enforcement of guidelines, and matter budgets.
- Administer e-billing and matter management systems while ensuring data integrity and team training.
- Lead vendor selection and RFP processes for legal technology and outside counsel panels.
- Evaluate and implement AI and automation tools to reduce administrative burdens.
- Build and maintain dashboards to provide leadership with actionable insights on legal spend.
Requirements
- Must be based in the US
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of experience in legal operations, legal project management, or a related function.
- 2+ years of in-house legal team experience with a focus on outside counsel management and e-billing.
- Hands-on experience with e-billing technology (Brightflag preferred) and matter management tools.
- Strong technical acumen with a proven ability to manage cross-functional projects and implement new processes.
